چکیده
The first part of our paper presents a general survey on the modeling, analytic problems, and applications dynamics human crowds, where specific features living systems are taken into account in modeling approach. This critical analysis leads to second which is devoted research perspectives multiscale topics followed by hints towards possible achievements. Perspectives include social dynamics, problems detailed study link between crowds swarms modeling.

Towards a mathematical theory of meaningful communication
Meaning has been left outside most theoretical approaches to information in biology. Functional responses based on an appropriate interpretation of signals have been replaced by a probabilistic description of correlations between emitted and received symbols. This assumption leads to potential paradoxes, such as the presence of a maximum information associated to a channel that creates complete...
متن کاملTowards a Mathematical Theory of Super-Resolution
This paper develops a mathematical theory of super-resolution. Broadly speaking, superresolution is the problem of recovering the fine details of an object—the high end of its spectrum— from coarse scale information only—from samples at the low end of the spectrum. Suppose we have many point sources at unknown locations in [0, 1] and with unknown complex-valued amplitudes. We only observe Fouri...
متن کاملTowards a Mathematical Theory of Analogy
This paper presents a mathematical theory of analogy, which should be a basis in developing analogical reasoning by a computer. The analogy is a partial identity between two sets of facts. In order to compare several analogies, we introduce an ordering of analogies, and we define two types of optimal analogies, maximal analogies and greatest ones. We show a condition under which the greatest an...
متن کاملA General Mathematical Theory of Behavioral and Aggregate Discounting
A mathematical formalism is developed for the existence of unique invariants associated with wide classes of observed discounting behavior. These invariants are ‘exponential discount rate spectra,’ derived from the theory of completely monotone functions. Exponential discounting, the empirically important case of hyperbolic discounting, and so-called sub-additive discounting are each special ca...
متن کاملA Mathematical Theory of Human Machine Teaming
Figure 1: Illustration: an HMT architecture that is lower bounded for generic performance metrics under a variety of teaming stressors. We begin with a disquieting paradox: human machine teaming (HMT) often produces results worse than either the human or machine would produce alone. Critically, this failure is not a result of inferior human modeling or a suboptimal autonomy: even with perfect k...
